Why blame the government for Team Anna’s mess???

Team Anna is in a mess. Its high profile members – most notably Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan – are in a mess. But the mess is one of their own making. Why blame the government? Take the case of Kiran Bedi. Her fudging of travel accounts was brought out by the Indian Express. It was this newspaper that front-paged details of the various trips that Kiran Bedi made and overcharged for. It was then the Times of India that actually spoke with some conference organizers and brought out their claim that Kiran Bedi had not informed them about her scheme at all. It was only after all of this came out that people like Digvijay Singh started commenting on her; demanding that she quit. It was she who defended herself like politicians do when they are caught – rather than accepting her mistake. It was she who did not offer to quit – while that’s what she demands from politicians all the time. She was double standards personified – and she has only herself to bl

Vettel lifts cup at historic Indian GP

It’s always special the first time and the Indian GP at the Buddh international circuit was just as special. The Indian Grand Prix, an event many years in the making finally made history. And taking top honours in this momentous occasion was none other than the already double world champion Sebastian Vettel. The 24 year old German romped on to his 11th victory of the 2011 season. But it wasn’t easy for sure. As the lights went out Vettel sprinted to the lead at the start and worked very hard to build a field, which he then controlled as he led every lap. That left Webber squabbling with Button who had pulled a fast one on Webber at the very first corner. There was more action at the back as Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa added a little spice to proceedings by coming together for the fourth time this season. Further back, the chaos predicted for turn three arrived early as Rubens Barrichello clipped the back of Williams team-mate Pastor Maldonado and, in then having to move left

Europe is the second largest market for the software firms, and the euro zone debt crisis is a worry for the sector that has been looking to increase its sales to the region to hedge against their excessive exposure to the United States. "Macroeconomic sentiments continue to remain uncertain," Wipro's billionaire Chairma

Android phones have a bad history of not getting the latest OS upgrades, often leaving them several versions behind, says a new study.

Tracking 18 different Android phones shipped in the U.S. through the middle of 2010, the Understatement's Michael Degusta found that most have not received major OS upgrades or even minor support patches , even though they're still under contract. Pointing to one example, Degusta said that the Samsung Behold II on T-Mobile was supposed to be upgraded to Eclair, aka Android 2.1. But by the time the phone hit the market, it was already two versions behind, and then Samsung never bothered to upgrade it. As another example, the Motorola Devour on Verizon was already one version behind on the OS when it debuted in early 2010. Less than a year later, it was three major versions behind. Breaking down his study, Degusta uncovered several specific items: 7 of the 18 Android phones tracked never ran a current version of the operating system. 12 of 18 only ran a current version of the OS for a matter of weeks or less. 10 of 18 were at least two major versions behind within their two-ye

Javascript Operators

Operators Normally operators are same in javascript like any language. Lets consider an example. var p=5 ; var q =10; var z; z = p+q; var x; x=5+5; o/p : 10 x="5"+"5"; o/p : 55 x=5+"5"; o/p : 55 x="5"+5; o/p : 55 ... When you want to concat two strings at that time you have to use + sign For example : var str = "Welcome" ; var str1 = "To javascript"; var final ; final = str + str1 ; o/p : WelcomeTO javascript. In above output it doesn't contain space between Welcome and To.. If you want to do that at that time you have to write final = str + " " + str1; o/p : Welcome TO javascript.

Javascript Variable

JavaScript Variables As with algebra, JavaScript variables are used to hold values or expressions. A variable can have a short name, like x, or a more descriptive name, like carname. Rules for JavaScript variable names: Variable names are case sensitive (y and Y are two different variables) Variable names must begin with a letter or the underscore character The Main thing of javascript variable is u can store any kind of value in that variable even it is string or numeric value. Note: Because JavaScript is case-sensitive, variable names are case-sensitive. Example A variable's value can change during the execution of a script. You can refer to a variable by its name to display or change its value. var m; var p; m = "testing for javascript" ; p=15;

Online scammers seek to profit from the death of Steve Jobs

Online scammers are already attempting to capitalize on the death of Steve Jobs with a bogus offer to Facebook users for free iPads in his memory. Computer anti-virus firm Sophos said that the scammers urged Facebook users to click on a link to register for free Apple Inc products, then requested they complete online surveys or enter gambling sites. The scammers profit when users click through those links because they get commissions based on the amount of traffic they bring to the websites, said Graham Cluley, a researcher with Sophos. While this particular scam did not involve any computer viruses, online criminals could be planning more malicious campaigns focused on the death of Jobs. "They could just as easily have taken those users to a webpage containing malicious code or a phishing page designed to steal credentials," Clul

Javascript Statements

As you know how can we integrate our javascript in our html code. But in your html code that is a good programming practice to put your js code in head section. Now Javascript statements : Actually we use javascript basically for validation and change dynamic data. In javscript if you want to print something the syntax for that is document.write("Your message"); Example : <script type="text/javascript"> document.write("This is my first statement for javascript"); </script> It will print your message : This is my first statement for javascript. But remember a thing Javascript is case-sensitive language
